About Michelle Rodriguez and Well Styled
In 2006, Michelle Rodriguez left Corporate America to become a stay at home mom to her three kids. It only took a couple months for her to realize that she “had nothing to wear.” Gone were the suits and heels, as they had been replaced with comfortable ‘work out clothes.’ Unfortunately, those clothes lacked the style and panache that Michelle craved. She put her style instincts to use and created a new look for herself that was both stylish and comfortable; mommy basics that were perfect for her new life as a stay at home mom. After completing her own style makeover, she began helping other women do the same, and her business, Well Styled, was born. She has since helped hundreds of busy women their style at prices they can easily afford.
Michelle understands that in this day and age, a woman is usually juggling 10-15 balls in the air. Unfortunately, in the process of taking care of everyone and everything, one’s personal image usually takes a back seat. Michelle created Well Styled to support women in finding a style that works for them and brings out their self-confidence.
Michelle collaborates with clients with humility and respect for each woman’s lifestyle, interests, and needs. This allows for the image consulting process to be educating, therapeutic, and most importantly…FUN! . “I absolutely love to see the face of woman who looks at herself in the mirror in an outfit she would have never picked-out. Her face says, ‘Wow, that’s me?! I look fabulous!!’ There is something very powerful about a woman who knows she looks good. Sharing that moment with a client never gets old. “
In addition to her personal consultations with clients and weekly blog updates on style, http://wellstyled.wordpress.com/ , Michelle has a weekly radio segment called the “Look for Less” on Mix 94.7, which can be heard Tuesdays at at 5 pm Central. http://www.mix947.com/pages/3891709.php?
Testimonials
“Michelle has a range of services that rival that of Stacy and Clinton of What Not to Wear! I went on a group “Smart Shopping” trip with her last fall. The service cost $40 and we spent about 4 hours shopping. She picked out a dress that I would have never tried on, on my own! And it was $20 at Marshall’s. I also got three pairs of amazing shoes worth at least $180 “retail” for which I paid less than $80, for all of them.” – Kristin Harrel Castillo, Realtor
“Michele is very creative and has high energy. She’s fun to work with and is definitely not out to break your bank! Her style solutions are flexible and she definitely tailors advice to your own situation. I plan on working with her again soon to revamp my entire wardrobe!” – Phaedra Cucina, Children’s Book Author
“Michelle is an extremely positive and highly-motivated person who exudes warmth and energy. She is a polished professional, whose every communication accurately reflects her deep understanding of trends and fashion, as well as issues that face modern professional women and moms. Her consultations are not rushed and result in giving clients a clear vision of what their “best” looks like, including flattering fits for any body type, strong color choices, an organized closet and a sense of style that genuinely reflects their personality.”
- Susie Roselle, Graphic and Web Designer
“I have been working with Michelle for about 8 months and greatly appreciate the progress we’ve made, my closet is organized and my wardrobe now represents me and my everyday life style. I feel confident that I will continue to use her services and am very anxious to see our relationship grow as clothing seasons change.” – Gentil Najera, Stay at Home Mom
“Michelle is completely fun, very positive and a great teacher. I originally hired her to help me find the perfect outfit for a TV interview, but was so impressed that I hired her again right away for a career wardrobe upgrade. I highly recommend her!” – Katie Malinski, Family Therapist
